What to expect
We understand that visiting a new church can be a bit intimidating so we want to make your first visit with us as comfortable as possible. Please read the FAQs below so you know ahead of time what you can expect when you visit Cornerstone.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. How early can I arrive?
We encourage our guests to arrive 10-15 minutes before service begins and enjoy some refreshments. We host New Community Church on campus each Sunday for their worship service that begins at 9:00 AM. Our service begins at 11 AM
2. What should I wear?
We encourage people to dress as they feel comfortable. Most will be casually dressed, but a suit is fine here as well.
3. What are services like?
We begin our services with prayer followed by a time of music / worship. Our music style is more contemporary than traditional, but we do include hymns in our worship. Sermons are geared toward our mission of learning and being passionate about God's purposes. Our pastor strongly believes his messages must be soundly biblical and practically relevant for the days in which we live.
4. Will we sing?
Yes! There will be live worship with singing. Occasionally we use video songs for worship time.
5. Will children’s church be offered?
Yes! We have a Wonderful Next Generation Director, Sara Gutierrez. Sara has a passion for teaching children the Word of God in a very creative and fun way. Your children will definitely want to return for more. Check out our Children's Ministry page.
6. Do You Have A Nursery?
Yes! We have a beautifully remodeled nursery for infants and toddlers. Our nursery includes a quiet room with a TV monitor to watch the worship service. Our workers are Live Scanned and those required by law are given training to watch for child abuse. Infants and children are always welcome in church if you wish to have them with you during the service.
6. Will onsite bathroom facilities and hand sanitizer stations be available?
Yes!
7. Can I give a physical check or financial contribution
